First Solo Trip!
Traveling solo has allowed me to experience a new level of peace. I spent a weekend in San Francisco and I was able to truly take in all of the scenery and completely be in the moment. I got to see how beautiful San Francisco is, attend my first warriors basketball game, which happened to be their women’s empowerment night. I also got to explore fisherman’s wharf. After sending pictures to my family, my dad said this was the brightest he had seen my smile. Solo travel is beyond just traveling, it has introduced me to a new found freedom. I’m so grateful for the support I received from Lisa through 1 2 3 Go Solo to give me the push and encouragement to finally start traveling solo!

solo journey
...I recently found myself in a situation that I never dreamed I would be in. I was diagnosed with inflammation in my brain and a benign brain tumor that rendered me unable to read and think clearly and caused me to be constantly disoriented.
In our first session, I told Lisa how I desperately wanted to go on a retreat before I went back to work, but was afraid of some of the effects that I suffer, specifically disorientation leading to panic. Lisa was able to ask me some very honest, poignant questions to help me decide if this solo retreat would be a good “calming” idea or one that exacerbated my situation and would subsequently not be relaxing.
In the 3 sessions with Lisa, she helped me come up with the perfect plan. We implemented one week worth of spa days/treatments. Lisa gave me some great ideas of spas, treatments and self-care that would soothe my mind, body and spirit to get me to the point that I would be ready to go back to work relaxed and with the confidence that I needed for my “new” brain.

First Solo Experience!
Before working with Lisa, the idea of traveling solo felt impossible - something meant for other
people, not for me. When I commented on one of her social media posts, I never imagined it
would lead me to such a powerful transformation.
In our very first session, she listened— not just to my words, but to the fears hidden underneath
them. What surfaced was something deeper than I expected: the fear of expressing to my
husband that wanting to travel solo wasn’t about leaving him behind — it was about finding
myself. She helped me give myself permission to want more for me.
Thanks to her guidance, I took my very first solo adventure — a quiet hike to a serene spot for a
peaceful meditation, followed by a peaceful lunch among the beautiful flowers, trees and
chirping birds, at the Farms at South Mountain. It was truly soul-restoring. I felt free, at peace,
and able to breathe in a way I hadn’t in a long time.
I am forever grateful to Lisa for helping me take that first step toward reclaiming my own space and joy.

First solo dream trip!
Before working with Lisa and 1 2 3 Go Solo!, I was stuck in a cycle of wanting to travel solo but constantly talking myself out of it. I had so many fears—about safety, loneliness, decision-making—and I didn’t know how to move past them. She helped me get to the root of those fears and gently guided me through reframing my thoughts, turning my “what ifs” into “why nots.”
She didn’t just coach me—she walked with me. She connected me with travel agents to help make the trip a reality, and she checked in regularly via text, email, and calls to make sure I didn’t let the ball drop. Even when I hit moments of doubt and wanted to back out, she met me with encouragement, patience, and perspective.
Now, I’m two weeks away from my dream trip to Spain—something I’ve wanted for so long but didn’t believe I could actually do. Because of her, I do. If you’ve ever felt that longing to go but fear kept you frozen, let this be your sign: 1 2 3 Go Solo! is the support system that can help you take the leap.
